This course is aimed at improving the quality of experimental design and analysis of animal experiments. By teaching the fundamentals of good practice in design and analysis of associated data we will provide attendees with an appreciation of the factors they need to consider when designing an experiment. Following the course, they should be able to refine the procedures and housing, minimise the number of animals needed and to maximise the quality and relevance of the scientific output. This is consistent with our firm commitment to the principles of the 3R’s.
