Discover Days 2010

60 pupils from local schools came to the University in December to discover more about neuroscience or microbiology.

Pupils examined brainwaves and dissected brains in the neuroscience day and identified the bacteria in some very whiffy milk in the microbiology day!

"It was a good taster and gave an overview about what is available to you and what to expect from the uni and the course."

In addition, students found out about degrees and careers in these areas as well as learning about some of the cutting edge research going on right now in Manchester.
