Neuroscience (MNeuroSci)

Why MNeuroSci?

If you think that Neuroscience is possibly interesting, think again.... but if you think that Neuroscience is what you want as a career, think MNeuroSci - we want you to decide that research, into the basic nature of neuroscience, from the genetic material and its control, through nerve cells, circuits and, well, brains - in health and disease; from development to ageing - is what you want. Three years of basic study, and a fourth of real research, with one of us, the academic members of the Faculty, in our labs, doing what we do (and a Masters degree at the end)!

Many of you may be interested, but some of you will be determined.... You will find so much more information, and hands-on experience, on our MNeuroSci course:

  • what is a nerve cell?
  • how do groups (circuits) of nerve cells act together?
  • how do nerve cells make consciousness and thought? (Well, we haven't actually done that yet, but you might!)
