Employment
Plant Science graduates are well equipped for a range of careers both in and outside the Life Sciences sector. The relatively low number of Plant Science graduates and the high demand for their expertise in areas such as crop engineering and biofuel research means they are extremely employable.
Life Sciences roles of recent graduates included:
- Project co-ordinator for a conservation organisation
- Graduate trainee (agriculture) for a biotechnology company
Further Study
Around 67% of graduates move on to further study in the area of Life Sciences. These graduates are likely to move into a career in scientific research in the future.
